Yes! Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail with tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for the information to populate.
There are many circumstances surrounding group buys: manufacturing queues, material surplus or shortage, freight times and delays, as well as different arrival times of various group buy items. This is all unfortunately out of our control, but we do our best to stay up to date at each of these steps and advise customers accordingly. Once we receive group buy products, we work to ship them out as quickly as we can!
We’re located in the beautiful city of Victoria, British Columbia in Canada! For those who don’t know exactly where that is, we’re about as West Coast as you can get.
In stock items are shipped out within 2-3 business days. If you have received your tracking number, please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the tracking info to start showing on the carrier’s website.
Depends. There isn’t a particular date as every group buy has different manufacturing and lead times. Typically in our experience GMK has the longest lead time of 12 months while Infinikey has a turnaround time of within 4-6 months. However, keep in mind that a group buy ship date is not guaranteed and is subject to changes. We post updates on our current and past group buys on Updates or on our Discord Channel.
Items marked as “Extra” are additional items from Group Buys purchased directly by Ashkeebs in order to provide to customers that were unable to place an order during the Group Buy period, for whatever reason. These items have a slight mark-up from the Group Buy pricing due to the simple convenience of not having to wait for the production to finish and the items to ship from overseas.
A group buy is similar to a kickstarter: you are helping finance the project being made by placing your order! So long as MOQ (minimum order quantity) is made, either entirely from customers or assistance from vendors by purchasing extra kits, the project will enter into production soon after. The production period will vary depending on the project and the manufacturer themselves, as well as their queue of projects and any other extraneous circumstance. We provide an estimate for when we expect them to arrive, but it is just an estimate and things can change – we will ensure that we notify customers of the status of the group buy as things progress.

With COVID came many drastic changes, one of those being a massive increase in online orders. Courier services became heavily inundated, and some still are, and as a result they have thousands, if not millions, of packages to sort daily. In recent times this seems to have decreased, though for USPS if your package has been processed through the San Francisco or New York Jamaica distribution centres, it may still have a 1-2 week delay as they are the two busiest centres in the USA.
As Ashkeebs has handed the package off to the courier service, it is highly recommended to reach out to the courier first, as they will usually be able to provide more in-depth information with their systems on-hand. Ashkeebs should only be contacted for lost/stolen packages, or for other extraordinary issues.
Cancellation for in-stock orders can be done quite easily, as well as for group buy orders that are still within the buy period. However, we cannot cancel group buy orders outside of the buy period, and all orders wishing to be cancelled will be subject to a 3% cancellation fee. This is to reimburse Ashkeebs for the cost that the payment processor charges that is not returned when a refund is processed.
Refunds will take approx. 5-10 business days to return to your card once processed; this is a timeline provided by the payment processor and is a standard timeframe for most businesses and payment systems.
Other regional vendors we will certainly consider, but for outside of Canada, no.

No. Unfortunately, you cannot purchase an in-stock item with a group buy item as the lead times on group buys is vastly different. Please note that any group buy orders that have been made with in-stock items will be cancelled.
No. We cannot guarantee that they will arrive in a similar timeframe and is generally a logistical nightmare. If you do order items from two or more different group buys, your order will be cancelled and refunded subject to the cancellation fee.
While we cannot combine orders in our merchant system as they are two separate financial transactions, we can combine them in our shipping system and refund the difference in shipping cost.
Unfortunately not; the cancellation fee is unavoidable. As soon as the transaction is made, our payment processor takes the transaction fee, and thus the cancellation fee helps us recoup that cost.
Only before the group buy period ends. By checking the Disclaimer on each Group Buy product page, you acknowledge that you understand that once the Group Buy period has ended, no orders can be cancelled or refunded as the funds have been sent to the manufacturer to begin production.
Paid orders cannot be modified, however you can open a support ticket to request an additional order be written up and combined in our shipping system with your first order. You will not be charged additional shipping unless the dimensions or weight of the newly-added items exceeds the package limits previously paid.
