Designed to honour the materials used in its construction, Chapter 1 shows off the parts that make up the board in a sophisticated and striking fashion. Mix and match plates, knobs, and weights to create the board of your dreams, with hundreds of possible combinations! All Chapter 1 boards come with a shell case and a promotional comic book, and several deskmats that match the comic’s style are available for purchase!
Chapter 1 features an engraved single-piece weight that spans the width of the keyboard, creating an amazing typing sound that only gets better with higher density weight material like brass, copper, or steel! Each Chapter 1 case also comes with an encoder knob that matches the material and colour of the chosen kit, with alternate colours and materials available for separate purchase!
Finally, the Chapter 1‘s leaf spring plate was designed to achieve a bouncier, softer typing feel that is perfectly realized in the polycarb and aluminum plates, with the brass and copper plates providing a more rigid option for those who prefer a more traditional typing experience!
