Daisuke Richard, a Japanese artist, is known for his simple lines and flat, yet vibrant colours that fill each canvas in a vast array of contrast and complement. Rare is it that you’ll find a section of his work that is devoid of colour, and if so is to bring attention to something central and exciting.
Choosing a slightly desaturated palette, he succeeds in creating a soft, comforting setting that each of us could imagine ourselves in. This is the exact feeling that ghstgrl has brought to her keycap set: “the feeling of an lazing around in an oversized hoodie on a cold day.” Bold are the choices for bright alphas and dark mods, yet it draws attention into the board and keeps it there and, should your eyes wander, the bright blue accents will draw you right back in.
