Major updates for September 25, 2020

Finally, I had some free time to write up a proper review for some of the switches that have gone past my desk in the last couple of months! Primarily, TKC x C3’s V2 Tangerines and Kiwis, which are going up first, and more to follow shortly thereafter. I also have a new lightbox set up that has allowed for me to take better photos of the switches, and so new photos will be going up on each review so long as I have had possession of them since the review was written.

The shipping and lubing FAQ are still being worked on, with the lubing FAQ to be completed first. The reason for this is we are waiting to see if delays continue with USPS’ distribution centres, primarily San Francisco and New York Jamaica. These are where people were seeing the heaviest delays, between one to two weeks, though we haven’t heard from customers that this has been the case recently.

The heavens have heard our call and have answered with a gift! Krytox 205g0 and TriboSys 3204 are now back in stock and with a greater stock than ever before! Our aim is to make sure that we can keep everything in stock as much as possible, and carrying as much of these two lubricants as we’re able to is how we plan to do just that. Of course, demand for it is insanely high, but we have restocks planned regularly and will make sure to update the community should they be running out.

Krytox GPL 105 and 106 are still in-stock with a sizeable volume, so please make sure to grab those for your springs!

To ensure that we do our best to provide customers with the widest array of choices, we are starting to stock even more colours! In the 0.15mm variant we have stocked Aqua, Purple, and Pink films, and will look to carry all colours in both variants very shortly!

TX has been on the ball with designing and upgrading their product lines, and the new 16mm springs have been a hit! We are currently stocking them in 62g and 67g which we did not have in 14mm, and will work to stock a fair variety of each weight in each spring length. Most likely to stay within the 50g-80g range in a larger stock, and the weights outside of that in lower availability.

Not only is this Daisuke Richard-inspired set absolutely beautiful to look at, but ghstgrl went above and beyond and designed some adorable Comfy Cats to go along with them! These will be available to see on one of the deskmats, and is also on the cover of the box that the keycaps will come in.

Infinikey Comfy will be running from September 25^th to October 9^th!

Geekhack Thread

More details have been acquired for the second iteration of the Rara switch, which will be listed on the product page and on Discord that’ll be put up shortly. Vendors are being locked down as we speak, and renders for the switch are being processed!

We’ll be posting an IC on Reddit shortly and will update this section with the link once that’s done.

GMK Shorebound – Due to feedback on the kits, the designer has decided to pull the set until the kits are to (almost) everyone’s satisfaction. Currently GB date is TBA.
