Major updates for September 3, 2020

We’re incredibly excited to showcase the new website that we’ve been working on! While we were really happy with the previous website’s layout and functionality, we wanted a higher level of aesthetics and professionalism. This has been worked on behind-the-scenes for the last couple of months with most of the hardship revolving around how image-heavy the theme is and how limited we are on equipment. We’re quite proud of what we were able to produce and hope that everyone else feels the same way!

There will be a new taskbar header for projects (upcoming, ongoing, and concluded), as well as dedicated pages for keycap projects to showcase the inspiration, renders, and deskmats that the hardworking designers have drummed up. This will be similar to the design of Infinikey Port’s page. We want to be able to go the extra mile for those who’ve been kind enough to have us as a vendor!

There will also be an FAQ section that covers common shipping concerns and lubing questions. With COVID-19 ever rampant it’s important to have somewhere with conglomerated information that has been gathered over time from speaking with various courier companies.

We have a few new products to share with you!

TXKeyboards’ iconic switch films have had a slight rework, namely changing the bar that goes above the LED slot on a switch to two small nubs. This simply makes it easier to apply to the switch and is a nice quality-of-life change! We’ve restocked their standard 0.150mm films in clear and black.

We’ve also stocked their new 0.125mm thin films, which are ideal for Kailh and NovelKeys branded switches, such as Creams, Nolives, and the Silk & Dry series. They are available in clear at the moment with more colours potentially coming later!

We’ve acquired some fantastic Durock stabilizers in both individual 2u units and an 80% set which includes 1 6.25u unit, and 4 2u units. We’re intending to bring in 80% sets with 7u units down the line as well! These are available in two colours: smoky black, and, for the first time being sold in North America, transparent pink!

Our first GMK set that we’re vendoring will be by a fellow Australian named Pupper! GMK Shorebound ties off summer in the Northern Hemisphere by bringing to mind beautiful blue waves washing up onto sandy shores.

GMK Shorebound will be running from September 4^th to October 4^th!

From Ulliam comes a psychedelic experience drumming up nostalgia from all-night raves, psychedelic posters, and that one friend that had lights and beanbags galore around their place.

Infinikey Blacklight will be running from September 11^th to September 25^th!

One of the first JWK tactile switches that appeared on the global market is making a comeback! Designed by 43Studios and originally sold through Drop, this run will be sold by Ashkeebs for all of North America. We’re currently in discussions with other vendors in EU and Oceania. Spring weight will be determined by the community, and can be anywhere from 62-78g bottom-out!
