The SALVATION combines the soft and vibrant typing experience of an innovative leaf spring mounting system with a 60% tray case design.
The PCB is supported by silicon rubber standoffs attached to FR4 (fiberglass) leaf springs mounted to the case. Foam pads underneath the leaf springs provide vibration dampening and force modulation.
The leaf springs provide exceptional flexibility, allowing the entire plate/PCB subassembly to yield under keystrokes and vibrate in isolation from the case. The result is a typing experience that is soft and vibrant across the whole keyboard.
The SALVATION is designed for customization and experimentation. Build it with the stock FR4 plate, or use third-party 60% plates made of metal or plastic. Build it half-plate or plateless. Tweak the foam pad placement to make the leaf springs more or less flexible. Modify the stock FR4 plate to have slots that match the WT60-D WEIRDFLEX PCB, or into a half-plate design. Make your own leaf springs out of other materials.

With a magnetic interface, you can hotswap the aesthetic top pieces made from Aluminium, Hand Dyed Plexiglass and Recycled Terrazzo Plastic to your hearts content.
Three base finishes including black, e-white and a textured wrinkle-grey powdercoat, eleven different top pieces in three materials, and three badge styles give you a large amount of choice to personalise your FOUNDATION.

Being that the summer is coming up, a camping theme was chosen this time around – with the external weights featuring a mountain peak-shaped indent, and the internal weight etched with a calm tenting scene.
Extras for the QK100 include spare plates of all five materials, PCBs, daughterboards, as well as three bezels for the board’s screen in five different finishes! The OLED screen can be programmed through QMK, and if you’re handy with code, you can do some amazing things with it (like make a bongo cat slap every keypress, for example)! The back engraving is one of the defining factors of the Mercury65: each bottom piece has to be machined and anodized perfectly to achieve the two toned effect you see on the engraving. This means any pieces with blemishes surface issues must be scrapped to ensure every customer can receive a flawless back piece.

Skyloong has also adopted a Shallow Gasket, all-in-one silicone pad design to help eliminate the board’s traditional design drawback of lacking support in the main typing area by cushioning the shock under each keystroke. This gasket layer is inserted between the PCB and plate. The kit also contains foam for the bottom of the case to reduce hollowness.
The Skyloong GK96X Lite is fully programmable, with layer and macro support, as well as a module for a split spacebar layout, if desired. The integrated RGB lighting can also be programmed with a variety of effects, and is capable of displaying up to 16.8 million different colours!
