ePBT Ping‘s design evokes the minimalist iconography and soft-edged aesthetics of the modern desktop OS with a splash of vibrant colour, and is the latest keycap set from the talented folk down at Plop Labs.
Initially conceived as an homage to everyone’s favourite typeface, Wingdings; ePBT Ping has emerged from its months-long, caffeine-fueled metamorphosis brimming with pop and personality. This project features two OS-themed deskmats in your choice of Dark or Light backgrounds, designed to perfectly compliment your Ping keycaps!
Prototype images are provided for each variant, as well as to showcase the stitching quality and colour.

GMK Alpine is a beautiful ode to the Swiss Alps, an unforgettable silhouette that those who call Switzerland home know all too well. Bregoli, GMK Alpine’s designer, summarizes their vision of the set beautifully:
Have you ever been in the Alps and wanted to take a piece of it home with you? GMK Alpine is a Keycap set revolving around the beautiful Swiss Alps.
In Switzerland not only do we enjoy hiking, skiing, climbing or touring the mountains but the many different mountain animals enjoy the peaceful life up there and the Farmers watch their livestock while the herd dog plays around in the grass.
The Swiss mountains are a major part of my culture and something I would love to share with you. Even during tragic times, the Swiss alps helped defend Switzerland and gave anyone a hard time invading this beautiful country. They served as not only a shield but also as a bunker to keep the whole population safe.
This is my way of capturing the magnificent alps.

GMK Blot takes its name from blót, the Old Norse term for a blood sacrifice – a spectacle in which animals were ritually slaughtered, their blood poured into bowls, spread across stones, and sprayed upon nearby buildings and onlookers. The remains of the slaughtered animals would be cooked and feasted upon, accompanied by toasts of consecrated ale or mead to the glory of the gods. The blót was sacred to the Old Norse people, and was an important pillar of their religious practices; the sacrifices given as a gift to their deities in exchange for victory in battle, bountiful harvests, lasting peace, and many other types of favour.
The deskmats for GMK Blot are in keeping with the theme of this ancient custom. “Altar” depicts the Ægishjálmr – the “Helm of Awe” – a symbol said to grant a sphere of protection, often drawn upon the body or shield with blood to strike fear into the hearts of one’s enemies, as well as a pair of Jellinge-style goats being pierced by swords. “Blood Ritual” on the other hand shows a blót in progress, the keycap-shaped ritual stones soaked crimson with the blood of sacrifices, illustrated by stylish pixel art.
