• MM Studio continues to be inspired by vintage boards that preceded our generation, taking the iconic shape of the Cherry G80 0413 and beautifully recreating it with all of the modern trappings from years of innovation in the keyboard communit, and combining with the G80-0537’s AT layout to create the Class 0413 keyboard.

Both a standard and southpaw layout have been provided for the top case, as well as WK, WKL, and arrow cluster top cases amongst numerous colour choices! These can be mix-and-matched with the bottom case, allowing for a wide number of combinations just in terms of the case, leading to staggering numbers when including the plate and even the possibility of EC kits. The board supports PCB gasket mounting and top mount, as well as going plateless if you’re wanting to maximize your flexy typing experience.

Some important notes provided by MM Studio for the Class 0413:

    • The electrocapacitive (EC) Topre plate needs to have the housings cut by yourself and this option is not recommended for beginners.
      • If you’re new to EC boards, we recommend the NIZ plate and everything needed will be provided for the build except keycaps.
    • The southpaw top frame can only be paired with the southpaw bottom case. Please be aware of this when purchasing extra top frames.
    • The EC PCB only supports the standard WK/WKL top frame – southpaw is not available.

  • GEON Force Break Pads have been designed specifically for the keyboard case modification process of the same name, wherein the pads break the force between the contact point of the top and bottom case. These can be placed over the case screw holes between the top and bottom case. This process helps reduce reverb carrying through the case, improving overall sound significantly in boards experiencing pinging/reverb.

The back engraving is one of the defining factors of the Mercury65: each bottom piece has to be machined and anodized perfectly to achieve the two toned effect you see on the engraving. This means any pieces with blemishes surface issues must be scrapped to ensure every customer can receive a flawless back piece.

Numerous optional parts are available for the Mercury65! Four badge colours, four plate options, and an extra solderable PCB or a hotswap PCB.

  • Introducing the third board from Neo Studio and QwertyKeys – the Neo80! Seeing as how the 80% layout is bulkier than the typical compact keyboard, the Neo80 was designed with a curved edge and chamfer in addition to the Neo series’ iconic slim side bezels, giving the board a softer appearance. Effortless assembly is core to the Neo series’ identity, but an alternative to the unibody case design had to be considered due to the limitations of the 80% layout – eventually settling on a custom ball-catch structure that fits the board’s slim profile without compromising the design. The Neo80’s layout omits the F13 key to make the board more practical for everyday use, and is available in both WK and WKL configurations!

Extras for Neo80 include spare plates and PCBs, kits containing gaskets or mounting essentials, and more!

  • TX switch films have been kindly supplied by TX Keyboards, a Korean-based company that provides high-quality polycarbonate films to improve the overall feeling of the switch. As the community continues to expand and switches continue to be developed, these films stay at the forefront of achieving the elusive endgame, wherever that may be.

These extremely thin polycarbonate films rest on the bottom housing of the switch during application.. When closed, they reduce the stem’s directional wobble and increase the tolerance of the two in combination while not increasing friction.

TX has slightly reworked their design by removing the bar that is towards the bottom of the film and instead has two short nubs. This simply makes it easier for the film to sit in the switch during application.

A thin variant has also been designed to fit Kailh switches, and is perfect for NovelKeys’ branded switches: Creams, Nolives, and the Dry/Silk series!

  • GEON Switch Openers are of a small, simple design able to open MX or Kailh style switches using magnetic attachments to keep the two pieces together. A nicely-designed lip on the front of the switch opener makes separating the pieces a breeze.

  • TX springs have been kindly supplied by TX Keyboards, a Korean-based company that provides high-quality springs at an affordable price. Due to the quality control extent that TX Keyboards has gone through, these springs will not have a deviation outside of -1/+1 for spring weight.

They have provided a wide variety of spring weights; the force of these spring weights is measured at bottom-out. Differently-weighted springs will feel different depending on what type of switch they are put into, and it is important to understand that it can drastically change how the switch performs.

The difference in the spring length will affect the initial force for the keypress, but does not affect the bottom-out weight. So, the 16mm springs will have a higher initial weight than the 14mm springs, but the bottom-out weight will be the same on both.

  • Manufactured in Korea, GEON 22mm Triple-Stage Springs are unique, high-quality springs wherein the design of the springs allows for a normal downstroke keypress, but a snappy return compared to linear springs. As with all GEON products, the 22mm Triple-Stage Springs have gone through rigorous quality control to allow for a precise and minimal deviation range on each spring.

  • The Lucky65 keyboard from Velocifire boasts an impressive line-up of features at an incredibly affordable pricepoint! There are also five layers of various types of foam, with a mix of IXPE, poron, PET, and EPDM, so you’ll be able to mix and match the foam to your own personal preference. The board also includes pre-lubed Xinmeng V2 plate-mount stabilizers, which have been well-received by reviewers for factory-lubed stabilizers.

Internally, the Lucky65 uses a relatively standard PCB gasket mount system, with flex cuts included in the plate and PCB. PCB options are split between ANSI and ISO support, and both are tri-mode, supporting wired, 2.4ghz, and Bluetooth connections!
